Camps

Led by 20+ musicians who have years of studio and live performance experiences, you will enjoy a week full of learning and fun. You’ll be placed in a band with other students and lead by an experienced professional musician. Throughout the week you will work with your band and band leader to develop your band’s live show. Working collectively to pick songs, a band name, band image and how to execute the live performance makes this camp stand out from any other summer program you will find.

GUITAR:

Depending on their level of play, guitarists will learn everything from basic chords, picking and strumming to soloing techniques and advanced rhythm guitar.

BASS:

Depending on their level of play, bassists will learn technique, dexterity and scales as well as tips for improvisational playing.

VOCALS:

Singers will learn skills to improve their delivery and enhance their voices. Vocal range, projection and harmony are part of this course as well as practices for warm-up and relaxation.

KEYS:

Depending on their level of play, keyboardists will learn technique, dexterity and scales as well as tips for improvisational playing.

DRUMS:

Depending on their level of play, drummers will learn everything from timing and rhythm exercises to more complicated beats and solo techniques.

PRODUCTION:

Production is a part of any performance and is not forgotten in this camp. In addition to learning how to better their playing skills, students can also learn the behind the scenes production boards to help make your band sound like the pros.

PERFORMANCE:

The camp will end with a Saturday performance where the students will all perform in their very own rock band. There they are able to demonstrate to family and friends how far they have come.
